Cookie policy

Last updated: August 2026

This page explains what the site stores on your device, what needs your consent, and how to change your mind at any time. Nothing for tracking is set until you agree.

What cookies and local storage are

Cookies are small files a site stores on your device; local storage works in a similar way. We group what we use into strictly necessary items, which keep the site working, and analytics, which need your consent.

Strictly necessary (no consent needed)

These do not track you across other sites and cannot be switched off, because the site cannot function without them.

  • Your language choice, so pages load in the right locale
  • Your consent decision, so we do not ask on every visit
  • Your Business Analysis progress for the current session, so a refresh does not lose your answers
  • Security and rate-limiting signals that keep the service available

Analytics (only with your consent)

If you select Accept all, we load these third-party services to measure how the site is used and how visitors find us. Each sets its own cookies under its own policy and may transfer data to the United States. If you choose Essential only, none of them load and no analytics requests leave your browser.

  • Google Analytics, for usage measurement, under Google's privacy policy
  • Meta, for campaign attribution, under Meta's privacy policy
  • LinkedIn Insight, for campaign attribution, under LinkedIn's privacy policy

How long analytics cookies last

Depending on the provider, these cookies last from the current session up to around two years. Each provider sets and manages its own durations under its own policy.

Your choice, and how to change it

On your first visit a banner lets you Accept all or keep Essential only, with equal prominence and no pre-selected options. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through Cookie preferences in the site footer, which reopens the banner. You can also clear this site's data in your browser, and we will ask again on your next visit. Withdrawing consent stops analytics from loading on later pages.

Do Not Track and global signals

Because the site loads no analytics without an explicit opt-in, refusing in the banner already achieves what browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals ask for. We treat a recognized opt-out signal as a valid refusal.
